Props to VrDuckin from DK...for some of the info and stuff...
What you need:
-Flathead Screwdriver (or ratchet with torx bits if you want to do this the more precise way, which I now recommend)
-Painters Tape/Masking Tape
-Small, blunt scraping tool (a very worn out flathead screwdriver worked for me)
-Paint friendly adhesive remover (citrus based, like goo gone). Ive heard that lighter fluid works as well.
-Paper towels
-Rubstrips! I recommend OEM textured rubstrips such as the ones from TMTuning, but you can texture paint your current ones. This can be done by sanding off the clear coat from the rubstrips, then applying several (7 or so) very light coats of texture paint or bedliner, sanding lightly with a fine grit between each coat...but i went with an even different route and went with a flat black look...
DO NOT apply your new rubstips over the new adhesive, because they will stick out and, well, look dumb.
Spray a paper towel with the adhesive remover and rub the adhesive to soften it. The adhesive remover MUST be weak, as not to damage the paint. Scrape the adhesive with a blunt scraping tool, going VERY SLOWLY and VERY CAREFULLY so you dont slip and scrape your paint. A good idea would be to tape off the area around where you are scraping.
This step is the most tedious and time consuming, so I suggest maybe listening to an ipod or something to keep yourself from getting too bored.
Do not stop until ALL the adhesive is removed, so the new rubstrips sit flush. Any tiny, seemingly insignificant amount of adhesive left on the door WILL cause rubstrip to look noticably wavy once it is attached.
And one pic just because the sticker is that shiz...
