next you will have to figure out wether or not your car is wired as CE2 or not this is the most important part!!!!!
if your car is CE2 the fuse block under the dash will look like this

(not mine just found it on the vortex)
also it is very important that you switch out all the fuses from the old style to new style in the same order
if your car is ce2 then this is a cake walk job now if it isnt then you will have to rewire the car from headlight to tail light
if you do end up having to go down this road (like i did) your best bet is to pull the whole harness out of a 1990-1992 mk2 jetta/gti this will alow you to just plug the engin bay harness (VR6) directly into the CE2 fuse block
Use the same ECU that came with the motor to avoid any strange CEL codes
