you guys are very contradictive....first you say Apple is innovative and every other company immitates them.... yet.... now they wait to see how others do on the market... so what are they? the first, or the last? i admit, the iphone is a cool phone, but thats all it is, cool, and pretty Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.172.30 Safari/530.5
It's knowing how to make good products that will sell. Sure they weren't the first mp3 player, but when they came at it. It had a beautiful display, and a touch wheel that was revolutionary. See what we're saying, mp3's existed before... just people made them boring and cheap with a gazillion buttons. The iPhone, (cell phones always existed) but they came at it with another approach, amazing simplicity and feeling. + the ability of syncing with everything around you, from your favorite songs, videos, emails... using one simple application. Now you have over 50,000+ applications (which NO OTHER PHONE HAS, BTW) that are useful, affordable, and make your life easier which you can buy at anytime within seconds. It's how well everything builds up around a specific product, and it leaves you anxious to WHAT'S NEXT!

i do admit... iTunes is genius especially with syncing up with a device... and they are very nice.. but the thing about ipods is... 1. the equalizers arent the best, and they blow earbuds like crazy... 2. I wonder why they don't incorporate an FM tuner into their ipods... i know radio is getting old and outdated, but sometimes when you get tired of your library and want to listen to the radio, you cant unless you're in your car or next to a stereo Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.172.30 Safari/530.5

So when you get tired of you tracks you can buy some new ones... Come on, i thought you said you were in college..lol
i know why they did it of course... and it's sad that cheaper MP3 players offer these features, but of course they wont sell because they arent trendy enough.... trendiness ftw Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.172.30 Safari/530.5
apple didn't invent the computer, they only made it better.
apple didn't invent the mp3 player, they only made it better.
apple didn't invent the phone, they only made it better.
innovation does not mean invention. it could simply be a better way of doing something.

are you kidding? ok... i can see the argument for an iphone... perhaps even for an ipod... but there is no comparison in performance between pc's and macs. macs blow them right out of the water as far as build quality, software vulnerability, software efficiency, processing speed, etc.
