As some of you know I have been training @ Gracie Barra now for seven weeks. I LOVE IT
As of two weeks ago i started training 6 days a week. I have lost 27lbs to date.
My class schedule goes like this
MON,WED,FRI, 6:30-7:30 BJJ Fundamentals
MON,WED, 7:30-8:30 Advances BJJ
TUES,THURS 6:30-7:30 Muay Thai
TUES,THURS 7:30-8:30 No GI BJJ
FRI 7:30-8:30 COMPETITION
SAT 11:30-12:30 BJJ Fundamentals
I was actually thinking of participating July 11 @ florida state bjj competition however during sparring on friday, i was swept wrong . Instead of sweeping my leg (back of the calve, i was hit in the back of the knee) Well i just fell like a sack of potatoes. I was able to walk on it, su i went home iced it down and put some icy hot. Saturday morning i was in so much PAIN i couldnteven go to the bathroom to release my morning glory. Spent a total of 4 hours waiting at an emergency clinic and left because i was in the waiting room that whole time, then i went to the ER for another 3 . So that was my saturday. I love the sport and I can not waiting until my leg heals to get back on the mats.
BTW- KNEE INJURY is only a sprain but i should be good by weeks end hopefully.
